After assisting Prêt-à-porter to Vivienne Westwood’s Gold Label, Berlin-based Ramiro Calderon Alvarado and Ulrike Seidel started their own label in 2003. Combining Alvarado’s technical talents with Seidel’s artistic talents, Miroike celebrates classic elegance with a twist. This design duo has perfected an innovative and novel draping technique, which they have applied to their women’s apparel, shoes and even the bags. Like many Berlin brands, there is a touch of the 80’s in their works.
